Hoover Huskies (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Des Moines, IA), 52-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Southeast Polk lost 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA)

Next up, the Roughriders clash with the Urbandale J-Hawks (Urbandale, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record.
