Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lakota Tech Tatanka (Pine Ridge, SD) and the visiting Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), saw Lakota Tech's basketball squad knock off Hot Springs by a count of 68-53.

With the victory, Lakota Tech upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Tatanka travel to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to play the Quarriers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Quarriers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Dell Rapids won 62-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD)

Next up, the Bison play the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 3. Hot Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record.
