South Carolina High School Basketball - Hunter-Kinard-Tyler can't hold off Wagener-Salley
January 28, 2022: Neeses, SC 29107 The Wagener-Salley War Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans to 47 in the War Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The War Eagles now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, February 1. Wagener-Salley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 108-40 league loss to Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-9.
The Trojans (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Spring-Monetta (Monetta, SC). The Trojans enter the A Region 3 contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Ridge Spring-Monetta was nudged by Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC), 100-49, in a league contest.
