Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Leuzinger Olympians (Lawndale, CA), 55-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Inglewood upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA) to play the Cougars in a Ocean bout on Monday, January 31. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-7. Hawthorne lost 77-25 in their recent league bout against Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA)

Next up, the Olympians play the Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA) in a Ocean bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Leuzinger will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Normans come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 100-78 league win over Morningside (Inglewood, CA).
