West Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall ripped by Morgantown
January 28, 2022: Glen Dale, WV 26038 The Morgantown Mohigans basketball team scored 85 points and held the host John Marshall Monarchs to 29 in the Mohigans league triumph on Friday.
The Mohigans now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkersburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Morgantown will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 66-39 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Big Reds record now stands at 6-9.
The Monarchs (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, St. Clairsville triumphed over Cambridge (Cambridge, OH), 53-20, in a non-league contest.
