Texas High School Basketball - New Home trounces Kingdom Prep Academy
January 28, 2022: New Home, TX 79383 The New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors (Lubbock, TX), 75-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Leopards (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Tahoka (Tahoka, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region I District 6 test with a 3-20 record. In their last test, Tahoka was trounced by Post (Post, TX), 50-46, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Abilene Christian for a TAPPS 2A District 1 test on Tuesday, February 1. Kingdom Prep Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 61-50 league win over Southcrest Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 18-7.
