Ohio High School Basketball - Licking Valley knocked off by Licking Heights
January 28, 2022: Newark, OH 43055 The Licking Heights Hornets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Licking Valley Panthers to 63 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis DeSales for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Licking Heights will meet a Stallions team coming off a 37-35 league win over Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH). The Stallions record now stands at 7-8.
The Panthers (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH). The Johnnies enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Johnstown-Monroe ran past Lakewood (Hebron, OH), 58-35, in a league contest.
