January 28, 2022: Greenfield, IA 50849 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) and the visiting Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA), saw Nodaway Valley's basketball squad overcome Southeast Warren by a tally of 74-56.
With the victory, Nodaway Valley improves its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Earlham (Earlham, IA) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Earlham lost 52-50 in their recent league challenge against Madrid (Madrid, IA)
Next up, the Warhawks confront the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Southeast Warren will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 52-21 league win over Bedford (Bedford, IA).
