Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the host South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC), saw North Stanly's basketball squad wallop South Stanly by a tally of 80-49.

With the victory, North Stanly improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Comets host Albemarle (Albemarle, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Conference 35 challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Albemarle won 51-25 in their recent league battle against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)
