Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Zane Trace upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Adena (Frankfort, OH) to play the Warriors in a Scioto Valley bout on Saturday, January 29. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Adena lost 71-68 in their recent league bout against Unioto (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Redstreaks play the Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Saturday, January 29. Piketon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 71-60 league win over Westfall (Williamsport, OH).
