The R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC), 80-36 in Friday's league test.

The Hilltoppers (17-2) will now prepare for their test against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the 2A Conference 41 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Patton was trounced by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 75-57, in a league test.
