January 28, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87112 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Albuquerque Bulldogs (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque's basketball squad overcome Manzano by a tally of 42-23.
With the victory, Albuquerque improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to confront the Tigers in a 5A District 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Los Lunas won 53-16 in their recent league challenge against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 4-15 record after their 56-44 league loss to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM).
