New Jersey High School Basketball - North Star Academy crushes American History
January 28, 2022: Newark, NJ 07102 North Star Academy (Newark, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting American History Bald Eagles (Newark, NJ), 68-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, North Star Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The host Barringer (Newark, NJ) to play the Blue Bears in a Super Essex - Freedom bout on Monday, January 31. The Blue Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Bald Eagles play the Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. American History will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 48-19 non-league loss to West Side (Newark, NJ).
