January 28, 2022: Dearborn, MI 48124 The Dearborn Pioneers (Dearborn, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Canton Chiefs (Canton, MI), 63-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Belleville (Belleville, MI). The Tigers go into the Kensington Lakes - East test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Belleville notched a victory over Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI), 41-27, in a non-league test.
The Chiefs now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brighton for a Kensington Lakes - West test on Tuesday, February 1. Canton will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 43-37 league win over Novi (Novi, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
