Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Washington Township Minutemen (Sewell, NJ), 45-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cherokee upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Rancocas Valley (Mt. Holly, NJ) to play the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Red Devils come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Rancocas Valley won 59-57 in their recent league bout against Westampton Tech (Westampton, NJ)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) in a Olympic - American bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Washington Township will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
