The El Dorado Aztecs tipped the host Parkland Matadors basketball team by a final score of 39-35 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 game, on Tuesday, February 1. El Dorado will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 16-11 record after their 66-28 league win over Horizon (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Parkland moves to 14-13 on the year. The Matadors travel to Canutillo (Canutillo, TX) to face the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 2 game on Tuesday, February 1.
