Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Juniata holds off Halifax

January 28, 2022: Halifax, PA 17032

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Juniata Indians (Mifflintown, PA) and the host Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA), saw Juniata's basketball squad hold off Halifax by a tally of 35-30.

With the victory, Juniata improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Line Mountain (Herndon, PA) to confront the Eagles in a Tri-Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Line Mountain won 36-33 in their recent league challenge against East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans (Elizabethville, PA) in a Tri-Valley challenge, on Saturday, January 29. Halifax will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 51-41 league win over Greenwood (Millerstown, PA).
