Connecticut High School Basketball - Manchester crushes Northwest Catholic
January 28, 2022: West Hartford, CT 06117 Manchester Red Hawks (Manchester, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT), 71-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Manchester upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Red Hawks travel to Southington (Southington, CT) to clash with the Blue Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 30. The Blue Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Southington lost 45-41 in their recent league bout against Farmington (Farmington, CT)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Conard Chieftains (West Hartford, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Northwest Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 47-26 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, CT).
