In Friday's league match, the host R-S Central Hilltoppers basketball team scored a good 60-44 triumph over the Polk County Wolverines.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers meet the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a 2A Conference 41 match, on Tuesday, February 1. R-S Central will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record.
