Post Antelopes (Post, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX), 40-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Post upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Antelopes host Ropes (Ropesville, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region I District 6 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 24-4. Ropes won 61-28 in their recent league bout against Smyer (Smyer, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a 2A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Tahoka will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 23-6 record after their 59-22 league win over Post (Post, TX).
