Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Van Buren Crusaders (Van Buren, ME), 73-20 in a league bout.

With the win, Wisdom upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Pioneers host Easton (Easton, ME) to play the Bears in a D North bout on Saturday, January 29. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 0-9.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 1. Van Buren will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
