Virginia High School Basketball - Flint Hill holds off Anacostia
January 28, 2023: Oakton, VA 22124 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Flint Hill Huskies (Oakton, VA) and the visiting Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC), saw Flint Hill's basketball squad hold off Anacostia by a tally of 68-63.
With the victory, Flint Hill improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Huskies host Maret (Washington, DC) to confront the Frogs in a Mid-Atlantic challenge on Friday, February 3. The Frogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-8.
Next up, the Indians confront the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Monday, January 30. Anacostia will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Penguins come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 77-71 non-league loss to Dunbar (Washington, DC).
