January 28, 2023: Meridian, ID 83642 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) and the visiting Borah Lions (Boise, ID), saw Mountain View's basketball squad overcome Borah by a tally of 55-42.
With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Capital (Boise, ID) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Capital won 66-62 in their recent league challenge against Middleton (Middleton, ID)
Next up, the Lions confront the Nampa Bulldogs (Nampa, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Borah will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 72-66 league loss to Boise (Boise, ID).
