January 28, 2023: Pewaukee, WI 53072 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pewaukee Pirates (Pewaukee, WI) and the visiting Catholic Memorial Crusaders (Waukesha, WI), saw Pewaukee's basketball squad overcome Catholic Memorial by a tally of 78-70.
With the victory, Pewaukee improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI) to confront the Popes in a Woodland - West challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Popes come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Pius XI Catholic lost 72-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Hamilton (Sussex, WI)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Mukwonago Indians (Mukwonago, WI) in a Classic Eight challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Catholic Memorial will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record.
