North Dakota High School Basketball - Central Cass tops Hillsboro
January 28, 2023: Hillsboro, ND 58045 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Central Cass Squirrels (Casselton, ND) and the host Hillsboro Burros (Hillsboro, ND), saw Central Cass's basketball squad knock off Hillsboro by a count of 61-52.
With the victory, Central Cass upgrades its record to 14-0 on the campaign. The Squirrels host Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD) to play the Tigers in a B Region 1 challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] lost 82-66 in their recent league challenge against Hankinson (Hankinson, ND)
Next up, the Burros play the Larimore Polar Bears (Larimore, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Hillsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 65-32 league win over Hatton/Northwood (Northwood, ND).
