California High School Basketball - Foothill succumbs to Coronado
January 28, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92705 The Coronado Cougars topped the host Foothill Knights basketball team by a final score of 59-49 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Desert Pines Jaguars (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern game, on Monday, January 30. Coronado will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 14-3 record after their 51-41 league win over Palo Verde (Las Vegas, NV).
With the defeat, Foothill moves to 23-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to face the Spartans in a Crestview game on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 17-8. Villa Park won 57-52 in their recent league game against Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA)
