Alabama High School Basketball - DeSoto Central can't hold off Plainview
January 28, 2023: Rainsville, AL 35986 The Plainview Bears basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars to 50 in the Bears non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bears now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Plainview will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 60-39 non-league loss to Ramsay (Birmingham, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
The Jaguars (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grenada (Grenada, MS). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Grenada was nudged by Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS), 67-53, in a non-league contest.
