Maryland High School Basketball - New Town nudges Dover
January 28, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117 New Town (Owings Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Dover Senators (Dover, DE), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Town upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The travel to Kenwood (Baltimore, MD) to clash with the Bluebirds in a Baltimore County 2 bout on Friday, February 10. The Bluebirds go into the bout with a record of 12-4.
Next up, the Senators clash with the Sussex Tech Ravens (Georgetown, DE) in a Henlopen - Northern bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Dover will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 63-39 non-league loss to Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE).
