Nevada High School Basketball - Owyhee holds off Durango
January 28, 2023: Las Vegas, NV 89113 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) and the host Durango Trailblazers (Las Vegas, NV), saw Owyhee's basketball squad hold off Durango by a tally of 63-60.
With the victory, Owyhee improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Storm host Kuna (Kuna, ID) to confront the Kavemen in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Kavemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Kuna lost 78-70 in their recent league challenge against Eagle (Eagle, ID)
Next up, the Trailblazers confront the Clark Chargers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Durango will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record.
