Iowa High School Basketball - Easton Valley holds off Lena-Winslow
January 28, 2023: Preston, IA 52069 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Easton Valley (Preston, IA) and the visiting Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL), saw Easton Valley's basketball squad hold off Lena-Winslow by a tally of 33-28.
With the victory, Easton Valley improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The travel to Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA) to confront the Irish in a Big East challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Prince of Peace Prep won 65-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Warren Warriors (Warren, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 30. Lena-Winslow will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 65-44 league loss to Scales Mound (Scales Mound, IL).
