Iowa High School Basketball - Notre Dame thwarts Fort Madison
January 28, 2023: Burlington, IA 52601 The Notre Dame Nikes (Burlington, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA), 63-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Nikes (10-3) will now prepare for their test against New London (New London, IA). The Tigers go into the SEI - South test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, New London went down by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 62-55, in a league test.
The Bloodhounds now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hamilton/Warsaw for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 31. Fort Madison will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Titans record now stands at 18-7.
