Maine High School Basketball - Freeport tipped by Spruce Mountain
January 28, 2023: Freeport, ME 04032 The Spruce Mountain Phoenix basketball squad scored 48 points and restricted the host Freeport Falcons to 45 in the Phoenix non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Spruce Mountain upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Falcons play the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME) in a A South challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Freeport will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 80-44 non-league win over Lake Region (Naples, ME).
