Iowa High School Basketball - Valley overwhelms Iowa City
January 28, 2023: West Des Moines, IA 50266 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) and the visiting Iowa City Little Hawks (Iowa City, IA), saw Valley's basketball squad wallop Iowa City by a tally of 77-44.
With the victory, Valley improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to confront the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Lynx come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.
Next up, the Little Hawks confront the Washington Warriors (Cedar Rapids, IA) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Iowa City will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record.
