Connecticut High School Basketball - Ledyard overwhelmed by La Salle Academy
January 28, 2023: Ledyard, CT 06339 The Ledyard Colonels basketball team (Ledyard, CT), was overwhelmed 58-32 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI)
The Rams now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a State Championship battle on Tuesday, January 31. La Salle Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 71-47 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.
The Colonels (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers come into the Eastern Connecticut I battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, New London trounced Hall (West Hartford, CT), 59-52, in a non-league battle.
