In Saturday's league match, the visiting Lowndes Vikings basketball team scored a good 60-50 triumph over the Valdosta Wildcats.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 1 match, on Tuesday, January 31. Lowndes will attempt to move on its 13-10 season record. The Packers enter the match with a 1-14 record after their 46-42 league win over Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
