In Saturday's non-league outing, the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) basketball squad edged the host MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), by a count of 65-61.

The Knights (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the Big Twelve outing with a 7-16 record. In their last outing, Champaign Central was tipped by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 51-47, in a non-league outing.
