Georgia High School Basketball - Pace Academy fells McDonough

January 28, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30327

Pace Academy Knights (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA), 59-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Pace Academy upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, GA) to play the Tigers in a AAAA Region 5 bout on Monday, January 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Stockbridge lost 49-35 in their recent league bout against Luella (Luella, GA)

Next up, the Warhawks play the Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA) in a AAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. McDonough will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-17 record after their 78-36 league loss to Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA).
