The Mercer Island Islanders ran past the visiting Renton Red Hawks basketball team by a final score of 67-54 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Islanders face the Juanita Ravens (Kirkland, WA) in a 3A KingCo game, on Tuesday, January 31. Mercer Island will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Ravens enter the game with a 7-11 record after their 57-44 league loss to Liberty (Issaquah, WA).
