Ohio High School Basketball - Pickerington Central tops Africentric Early College
January 28, 2023: Columbus, OH 43209 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH) and the host Africentric Early College Nubians (Columbus, OH), saw Pickerington Central's basketball squad knock off Africentric Early College by a count of 58-48.
With the victory, Pickerington Central upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH) to play the Cruisers in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cruisers come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Groveport-Madison lost 51-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Logan (Logan, OH)
Next up, the Nubians play the Northland Vikings (Columbus, OH) in a Columbus City - North challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Africentric Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 66-6 non-league win over Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH).
