In Saturday's non-league outing, the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA), by a margin of 68-45.

The Knights (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Butler (Butler, PA). The Golden Tornado go into the WPIAL 6A 1 outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Butler smashed Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA), 58-55, in a league outing.

The Black Hawks now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Peters Township for a WPIAL 6A 2 outing on Monday, January 30. Bethel Park will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 61-47 league loss to Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Indians record now stands at 8-6.
