Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) and the host Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY), saw Southwestern's basketball squad wallop Bullitt Central by a tally of 74-50.

With the victory, Southwestern improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY) to confront the Raiders in a District 48 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Cougars confront the North Oldham Mustangs (Goshen, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Bullitt Central will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 56-52 league loss to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY).
