New Jersey High School Basketball - Glen Ridge nudges Caldwell
January 28, 2023: Glen Ridge, NJ 07028 Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ), 50-43 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Glen Ridge upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Ridgers host Arts (Newark, NJ) to clash with the Jaguars in a Super Essex - Independence bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Arts lost 32-7 in their recent non-league bout against Kent Place (Summit, NJ)
Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 58-41 non-league win over Verona (Verona, NJ).
