January 28, 2023: Newfield, NJ 08344 The Our Lady of Mercy Academy Villagers routed the visiting Deptford Spartans basketball team by a final score of 55-20 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Villagers face the Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 30. Our Lady of Mercy Academy will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 6-8 record after their 53-43 non-league loss to West Deptford (Westville, NJ).
With the defeat, Deptford moves to 2-10 on the year. The Spartans travel to Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ) to face the Colts in a Tri-County - Liberty game on Tuesday, January 31. The Colts enter the game with a record of 1-9.
