January 28, 2023: Trenton, NJ 08618 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the host Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ), saw St. John-Vianney's basketball squad overcome Ewing by a tally of 58-45.
With the victory, St. John-Vianney improves its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Raritan (Hazlet, NJ) to play the Rockets in a Shore A - Central challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Raritan lost 39-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Ewing will attempt to improve on its 17-2 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 68-45 league loss to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ).
