In Saturday's non-league match, the host Vian Wolverines basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Henryetta Knights.

In their next game, the Wolverines meet the Central Tigers (Sallisaw, OK) in a Big Eight match, on Tuesday, January 31. Vian will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record.
