Alaska High School Basketball - Lathrop nips Palmer
January 28, 2023: Fairbanks, AK 99701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK) and the visiting Palmer Moose (Palmer, AK), saw Lathrop's basketball squad hold off Palmer by a tally of 41-34.
With the victory, Lathrop improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Malemutes travel to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to play the Crimson Bears in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Crimson Bears come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Juneau-Douglas won 74-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Service (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Moose play the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Palmer will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 50-45 league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK).
