North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek knocked off by Marvin Ridge
January 28, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269 The Marvin Ridge Mavericks basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Mallard Creek Mavericks to 18 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mavericks now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuthbertson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Marvin Ridge will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 26-17 non-league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-6.
The Mavericks (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record.
