The Canton Chiefs edged the visiting Salem Rocks ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Saturday's league bout.

With the victory, Canton betters its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Downriver Wolfpack (Wayne, MI) to confront the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Downriver Wolfpack lost 5-0 in their recent non-league bout against Salem (Canton, MI)

The Rocks now have a 21-6 record. They take the field next when they host Brighton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. Salem will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Marquette (Marquette, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.
