The Weequahic Indians (Newark, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 69-47 in Sunday's league test.

The Indians (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Golda Och Academy (West Orange, NJ). The go into the Super Essex - Freedom test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, Golda Och Academy was trounced by American History (Newark, NJ), 41-37, in a non-league test.
