New York High School Basketball - St. Benedict's Prep tops Monroe Campus
January 28, 2024: Bronx, NY 10472 St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Monroe Campus (Bronx, NY), 47-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Benedict's Prep upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Gray Bees travel to Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ) to play the Big Red in a Mid-Atlantic Prep A bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Big Red come into the bout with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the play the Kennedy Knights (Bronx, NY) in a PSAL AAAA Manhattan/Bronx bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Monroe Campus will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 75-49 non-league loss to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY).
